 Ayşenur's Journey



    Hey! I am Ayşenur and I am a Medicine student. This year is my first year at university, and I'm studying at the preparatory school. Also, this year is a year that I consider myself very lucky. I met a great teacher at the beginning of the term, and she recommended we join a LAP Club session. I was very excited when I attended my first LAP Club lesson. At the same time, I was happy to have the chance to practice English. In these LAP Club lessons, my friends started talking about the PA training given by Gamze and Stephanie teacher. I was curious about this training and decided to join it. We started having a great time with my friends and teachers every week. We were both learning interesting things, and we had the opportunity to get to know ourselves thanks to the activities we did. I also enjoyed learning the strategies in our training, as we can use them not only as advisors but also when talking to people around us in daily life. In the following weeks, we started practising the strategies that we learned with the advisees. I felt very nervous when we spoke to the advisees for the first time. But over time, getting people to think about how to solve their problems motivated me even more. Now I know that I will improve myself more in the future. This training has given me good friendships and good memories. I hope that in the future I can happily recall these memories and be a good advisor.
