EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE JOURNEY

 EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE JOURNEY

Hello everyone, I'm Emre. I am studying Business Administration at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. I am now at the end of my prep year. I've always been someone who loves talking to people and meeting new people. With the Peer Learning program, I had the opportunity to see my shortcomings and learned how I can help my peers more effectively, and I continue to learn. One of the reasons I went on this trip was Miss Stephanie. One day at the end of the lesson, "Hey Emre, we have a peer learning program. Do you want to be a part of this? I think he will be a good candidate.” He started by saying. During this process, I practised a lot of English because one of the foundations was that our English was better than the one we entered. The fact that our colleagues and teachers are foreigners pushed us to speak English more actively. In this process, I had the opportunity to conduct three sessions with other learners. All of them were shy at first and had reservations as they did not know how the process would go, but after the sessions, they mentioned that they were relieved. We all want to spill our guts and we need it. In this way, they both practised English and had the opportunity to bring different perspectives to the problems in their lives or the subjects they wanted to talk about. This process was an extremely enjoyable journey where I learned a lot from beginning to end. We would love to see you among us and we are always here to help!
