PA Adventure
PA Adventure
Hey, my name is Zeynep, and I am an MIS student. It was my first year in school, and in my first year, I used all the luck in the world and met an incredible teacher: Gamze Hoca. I was so ready to let her be my guide when she started talking about the PA Program, and I just found myself in her class. She literally understands what is going on inside you even if you don't. She charmed me with her magnificent energy.
But she only made me go & join the PA Program. It was learning about peer advising that made me stay on track. I didn't know how much we were wrong about communication before the PA training. When we give advice we think that we help others, but we are far away from helping them out. We just try to put others in the way which WE think is the best for them. We tend to forget that the best way changes from person to person. The thing which is best for us may not be the best for others. When you hear that, you'll probably think that you already know that. I thought the same, but with every class, I learned how wrong I was. Now I know how to help people, and I think this is a life-changing thing. 'Cause I'm not just helping others, but learning these things helps me, too.
The PA Program has been a helpful journey for me. I hope the friends after us will have a lot of fun with this program and add meaning to their lives.
I wish good luck and a happy journey to those who read this. I hope we can meet in person, too.
Love
